Josie and a bull to name
The sweetest Dawson heifer! Willow had a heifer on Sunday 5th November. We were expecting it to be a black calf, but she surprised us with dun heifer. We are over the moon. Another keeper!
Millie also had her calf the same day/night. A little boy that we have yet to name. He is really beautiful and hides behind his mum. He is a full sibling to Uilleam Arrow of MacAnLeister (now owned by Cambus Glen Highlands)

Ophelia
Another heifer! This one is a keeper.
Ophelia arrived on Wednesday, 4th October 2023, and exactly 4 days early (Ferlie always seems to have her heifers 4 days early and bulls 3 days early).
She is our 4th calf to Symbiosis Sir Titan (ET) (Imp USA) and we couldn't be happier. Ophelia is a full sibling to Titan Arrow of MacAnLeister.
September 2023
We welcome Winnie!
We are very excited to get our first heifer for 2023.
Winnie arrived on Saturday, 23rd September, 2023, right when we were expecting guests for our dinner party.
I think Lottie had it planned. Thankfully none of our guests were surprised as to why we were running late LOL!

2023 Australian Highland Cattle Inc National Show
- Supreme Exhibit - Dawson Arrow of MacAnLeister
'A very good Junior Champion but he came up against a Senior Bull who was so outstanding he made my job easy and really was a Supreme Champion. A bull who judged the right way would be very competitive in an inter-breed class'.

Aubrey Bow of MacAnLeister had a little boy!
We weren't expecting her to calve yet after she was ultrasounded with an estimated calving date of 21st April. Dam and calf are both doing well! Another calf on the ground sired by Dawson Arrow of MacAnLeister.

We are welcoming two new breeding females!
We have recently purchased two new cows to join us at MacAnLeister. We are always looking to bring in new genetics to our fold and these girls fit the bill...

MacAnLeister Highlands welcomes our last calf for 2022.
Orla gave us a wee bull yesterday (12th November) sired by Symbiosis Sir Titan. The little boy was named 'Antaine' after my dear friend who passed away yesterday. Was only fitting to honour such a beautiful person!
