MacAnLeister Highlands was established late in 2015 with the purchase of three females (with two being in calf). Initially, I just wanted the hairy coos for myself as something different to the common commercial breeds and had never considered showing and being where I am today, but here I am!

 

Many people ask why I chose to breed highland cattle and the answer is simple. How could you not!

They have so much to offer, from the shaggy coat and beauty, companionship and inner calmness, right through to the beef aspect.
